Running List: 1.3.2025
Weâre switching things up (AGAIN) this week - focusing not just on endurance deals & steals, but must-do races for your 2025 racing calendar.
This winter season, weâre mixing things up with two emails a week:
Tuesday afternoons: Your usual dose of the latest trends, updates, and stories from the endurance world.
Fridays: The Running Listâfeaturing incredible deals from endurance brands, quick bits of fun or quirky news, and a must-see video or meme to end your week on a high note.
Gear up and enjoy the season with us! đââď¸â¨
The Running List of Must-Do 2025 Races
IRONMAN 70.3 Waco: Joanna Gaines is the (un)official mayor of Waco, TX - and that makes Baylor Universityâs backyard the PERFECT family trip for a 70.3. Super cute town, lots of touristy things to do & a solid course. Registration opens soon.
IRONMAN Texas: The Woodlands probably isnât at the top of your bucket list - but this DFW area event should be. It has GREAT spectator support, flat run and an outstanding finish line. Registration open now.
CLASH Miami: If youâve never participated in a CLASH Endurance event - youâre REALLY missing out. Racing on a speedway, in the beautiful Florida weather - complete with a swim in a gator-less (and shark-free) body of water, what more could you ask for?
International Detroit Free Press Half Marathon: This half marathon really has it all. A bridge takes you over to (briefly) visit our Canadian friends, and then an underwater mile-long tunnel takes you back to Detroit streets for a scenic cruise to the finish. Registration open now.
The Spirit World 100: 10 hours, a bike & minimal support - can you make it the Mexico border and back, roughly 100 miles? Find out in October 2025. Registration opens soon.
Quebec Mega Trail: This 135 KM trail run through mountainous and challenging terrain will put your grit to the test. Registration opens now (will probably be selling out soon).
The Running List of Must-Have Gear
Satisfy Running: This ultra, high-end luxury running brand tops even Lululemon in prices. We donât have the bank account to bankroll a shopping spree, so we canât say first-hand if weâd like this gear, BUT the reviews are great, so if youâre feeling inclinedâŚtry it out!
Janji: This isnât a new brand, but Janji continues to expand their line-up for activewear, so weâve gotta include them in this list. Itâs high quality, and comes in great & trendy patterns. Loveeee.
Backcountry Steals: We canât say no a great endurance gear deal. This website sells samples of endurance brands like Cotopaxi and Smartwool. The selection rotates pretty steadily in terms of offerings, sizes, colors, etc.
Steep & Cheap: Backcountry.com sells all their âleftoverâ items on Steep & Cheap. Fastest way to sort through the 1000s of offerings are by inputting your size - most of these items are closeouts, so they arenât going to have every size.
